We Built the ERP We Wished Existed
Opexal started as an internal project at theALLai after we kept hearing the same complaint from college administrators: every ERP on the market was built for Western universities, priced for large enterprises, and required a full IT team to operate.
Why We Built This
In 2024, theALLai was helping a mid-sized engineering college in Rajasthan implement AI automation. Their biggest pain was not lack of data — it was that no system could answer a parent's phone call in Hindi at 10pm asking why their child's fee receipt hadn't arrived.
We built a voice agent to handle those calls. It worked. Fee collection improved. The Principal asked if we could extend it to attendance, then exam results, then HR. Six months later, Opexal was a product.
We are not a software company that added AI to an old ERP. We are an AI company that built an ERP from scratch — with the assumption that every workflow should be AI-augmented by default.
